Typical 2(365)

Sticking with the "home" theme this week.  This is a portrait of Tim and me.  Guess which one is Tim?

I was going to elaborate on our personalities here but I think the toothpaste pretty much does the job for me.

In case you don't know me, I'm the one on the left.  If you do know me you SO already knew that.

P.S.  The reason for us having two very similar but in fact different tubes of toothpaste is that I am pregnant and there is only one VERY SPECIFIC toothpaste that tastes okay while making my teeth sufficiently clean-feeling.  And Tim bought a different one.

  3. This is a real good representation of your story. The black and white makes it better. I'm a center squeezer myself, so two tubes and two bathrooms makes it work for us.

  4. This is so true! I love the black-and-white treatment and the composition of the two tubes leaning against each other. I'm a center squeezer, my husband is the neat one.

  6. I thought all couples were two-toothpaste couples! Not only is your photo in the theme, but shows thought and creativity, inspiring me to think outside the box.

  10. Love your subject's background...adds another point of interest. Great composition that speaks lots for itself. I, too, am determined not to stress about a photo every day. I think some days are much more creative than others and you may get 5 or 6 postable subjects and the next is bleh! If a person does processing on the other days or whatever...the blog police aren't coming for any of us!

  12. This totally inspires me to do a similar portrait of my husband and I. What a clever and hilarious take! I also love the contrast, lighting and texture. I never woulda seen toothpaste as fine art!
